Box Score (Owensboro, Kentucky) – The Lake Erie College Storm fell to the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers this afternoon with a final score of 3-0. Although the Storm battled hard losing 25-27, 22-25, and 19-25, they came up short at the end. The win improves the Panthers to 2-8, while the Storm falls to 1-8.
Storm junior Kariema Rodriguez led the team offensively with an impressive 13 kills, she was followed by freshman Peyton Lemmer who ended with a career-high 11 kills. Dora Olah fought hard today, giving the Storm 28 assists in the match.
Rodriguez also led the Storm in digs this afternoon recording 16 in the match. She was closely followed by Kaylee Hiser who recorded 14 digs.
The Storm will be back in action at home, this Tuesday, March 2 as they take on Walsh. The match is set to begin at 7 p.m.
