Box Score (Hillsdale, MI) – The Lake Erie Storm volleyball falls to the Hillsdale Chargers in a three-set loss. The Chargers defeated the Storm 25-15, 25-4, and 25-14.
Maria Blatnik and Kariema Rodriguez led the Storm each with five kills on the night. Rodriguez also added five digs and one block defensively for the Storm.
Dora Olah recorded 18 assists on the night, along with three digs and one kill. On the defensive side, Kaylee Hiser recorded an impressive 11 digs, Caitlin Farkas added seven of her own.
For the Chargers, Allyssa Van Wienen led with nine kills along with four digs, closely followed by Maggie DePorre with seven kills of her own. Lindsey Mertz also had a big night, recording 25 assists for the Chargers in their three-set win.
With today's loss against Hillsdale, the Storm falls to 1-4 overall. The Chargers remain ranked #1 in the conference with a record of 8-0.
