The Lake Erie College women's basketball team lost at home against visiting Findlay Monday night, dropping the game by a score of 88-62. While the victory lifted the Oilers above the .500 mark to 8-7, the defeat put the Storm's season total at 1-11. This comes after the two teams faced off on Saturday in Findlay, with the Oilers taking that one as well, 95-61.

Leading the charge for Findlay was forward Syndey Kin, whose 29 points and 10 rebounds helped the Oilers pull out to an early lead and ultimately pull away. Fellow forward Bridget Landin contributed 11 rebounds of her own. Guard Amber Schweiger added 15 points and five assists to the cause.

On the Lake Erie side, guard Sydney Wyndgarden topped things with 14 points and five assists. Guard Lauren Flannery had 14 points of her own.

As far as team totals were concerned, Findlay led Lake Erie in most categories. However, the Storm got more support from its bench, outscoring the Findlay bench 22-15.

Next up on the schedule for the women is a trip on Thursday to Kentucky Wesleyan. That affair is scheduled to tip off at 6:30.
