Box Score The Lake Erie College Storm men's basketball team fell to Ashland, 78-67 on Dec. 11 in Ashland, Ohio. This win drops their overall record to 5-4.
The Storm struggled in the first half, completing just 35.8% of their shots and failing to stop the Eagles hot 3-point shooting, trailing 38-27 at the half.
The Storm would show more fight in the second half however, improving their shooting percentage to 45.5% from the field and 33.33% from deep. Despite pulling within seven points late in the game, Lake Erie would not be able to mount a comeback, finishing with an 11-point loss, 78-67.
Jordan Burton led the Storm in points with 22, completing five of his nine attempts from beyond the arc and Johnny Manning added 10 points of his own as well as eight rebounds.
Lake Erie will be back in action on Dec. 14 at 5:00 PM on the road against Le Moyne.
