Box Score 2 The Lake Erie College volleyball team drops two conference matchups over the weekend. The Storm first traveled to Canton, Ohio to take on the Malone Pioneers before heading to North Canton for a match at Walsh University.
Friday
The Lake Erie College women's volleyball team lost their match this evening versus the Malone Pioneers. The Storm battled hard in all three sets, but lost with scores of 25-20, 25-21, and 25-20.
Dora Olah led the Storm with 13 kills in the match, with Kariema Rodriguez adding nine kills of her own. As a whole, the Storm attempted 125 attacks with 36 kills recorded.
Taylor Metzler recorded 20 digs with Caitlin Farkas adding nine.
Simone Schurr recorded 31 of the 34 assists in the loss for the Storm.
Saturday
The Lake Erie women's volleyball team lost their match versus the Walsh Cavaliers in three sets. Final scores for the sets were 25-16, 25-10, and 25-16.
Olah led the Storm with six kills, followed by Jordan Taylor with four. Several Storm athletes added three kills of their own.
Taylor Metzler recorded 11 digs in the loss followed by Olah with eight.

The Storm will travel to Hillsdale College Friday, November 12th to take on the Chargers. First serve is set for 7 PM.
