The Lake Erie College Storm men's basketball team took down Thiel College, 96-60 on Nov. 22 in Painesville, Ohio. The win gives the Storm their second straight victory improving their record to 2-1 on the season.

The contest was completely dominated by efficient team ball from the Storm. Jordan Burton (16), Jonny Manning (14), Jackson Burdyshaw (13), and Jacob Plantz (13) all scored double digits in the match. 

As a team, the Storm shot 49.3% from the field including 29.6% from beyond the arch. Despite being outrebounded by the Tomcats, 50-36, Lake Erie still was able to control the ball by creating 19 turnovers led by Jacob Plantz (5) and finding ways to score in the paint (52).

Leading by as many as 49 points at one time, the Storm take home a 36-point victory against a Thiel team that now falls to 0-6.

Lake Erie men's basketball will be back in action on Nov. 24 at 2:00 PM to host the visiting Salem Tigers.
