The Lake Erie College Storm men's basketball team took down Clarion University, 72-49 on Nov. 20 in Painesville, Ohio in the team's home opener. The win gives the Storm a 1-1 record on the year.

The Storm were led by Jonny Manning who recorded a team-high 14 points and 14 rebounds in the contest. Jacob Plantz also added 14 points, shooting 5-8 from the field and 2-4 from beyond the arc.

As a team, the Storm shot 50% in addition to 40% from behind the three-point line. The key to victory, however, was their defense. Lake Erie out-rebounded the Golden Eagles 47-26, captivating on second-chance points as well. 

The Storm return to action against Thiel College on Nov. 22 at 5:30 PM.
