Box Score 2 (Painesville, Ohio) – The Lake Erie College Storm split the weekend series. Friday night the Storm hosted the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers taking the match 3-0, followed by a loss Saturday morning versus Trevecca Nazarene 0-3. With this weekend's games, the Storms record is 3-15 overall, and 1-8 GMAC.
Friday
A back-and-forth battle ended in the Storm's favor against the Panthers of Kentucky Wesleyan. The Storm went on a six-point run starting at 13-11 then again at 19-21 to finish set one 19-25.
The Panthers started set two with a 4-0 run before the Storm came back. The Storm tied the set at 10-10, as they went on a six-point run taking the lead 10-16. A kill by Jordan Taylor ended the set-in favor of the Storm 15-25.
The Panthers seemed to have more momentum going into the third set, however, the Storm continued to fight back. Dora Olah was strong for the Storm throughout leading them to a 22-25 win in set three.
Olah lead the Storm with nine kills, followed by Jordan Taylor with eight. Simone Schurr was responsible for 23 of the 27 assists in the match. Schurr also led with nine digs in the match.
Saturday
The Storm fell to Trevecca Nazarene Trojans this afternoon with a final score of 3-0.
The first two sets went back and forth several times, but ultimately the Trojans came out on top of both. Final score for set one was 25-20, followed by set two with a final score of 25-22. Going into set three, the Trojans had all the momentum that the Storm was missing as they took set three 25-10.
Olah led the match with 11 kills, followed by Jordan Taylor with seven. Schurr recorded 26 of the 28 assists in the match. Taylor Metzler led the Storm with 10 digs in the loss.

The Storm is on the road for the next few matches, but will return home Friday, October 29th as they host Roberts Wesleyan.
