(Painesville, Ohio) – The Lake Erie women's soccer team took on Kentucky Wesleyan this afternoon. The Storm fought hard but were defeated by the Panthers 3-1.
The Storm struck first within three minutes of the game starting on a goal by freshman Rahel Lang. The goal came off a Storm corner taken by Juliet Tyma. After a touch by the Panthers, Lang was able to find the back of the net.
The second half was controlled by the Panthers as they scored three times. The first two goals were scored by Madisyn Hunt, unassisted both times, followed by a goal by Bree Owen assisted by Hunt.
The Storm offense did everything they could to even the score getting 14 shots off but were unable to find the back of the net again.

The Lake Erie Storm is set to host the Ashland Eagles in their final match of the season, this Tuesday, November 2nd. Kickoff is set for 7 PM.
