As the second leg of the final road trip of the Storm men's soccer season, head coach Louie Rolko's squad traveled down for a much anticipated clash with the Cedarville Yellow Jackets. The Storm avenged their loss to the Yellow Jackets earlier in the season with a 3-1 victory. 

The match got off to a characteristically great start for the Storm with an Ayden Von Essen goal in the 11th minute. Von Essen was assisted on the play by Teddy Baker. Baker would also be a part of the next Storm goal, as he assisted Gio Monteiro Da Costa on a scoring play just before the halftime break in the 44th minte. The contest would head into the halftime break with the 2-0 Storm advantage.

After the break, the Storm would concede a goal in the 56th minute, but freshman Connor Mautino would push the game back into the Storm's favor with the final goal of the contest in the 72nd minute on an assist from Ayden Von Essen. The 3-1 lead would hold, and the Storm would maintain the top spot in the G-MAC conference standings.

Senior goalkeeper Tom John was also pivotal to the Storm win as he stopped a total of 8 shots in the game, with 7 of those saves coming in the second half as the Yellow Jackets were attempting their comeback. 

The Storm will return to action with the final outing of the regular season for the men's soccer program as the Ashland Eagles come to town on Tuesday, November 2nd at 5 pm.
