The Lake Erie Women's Soccer team lost two close matches this weekend. The first match the Storm traveled to Findlay University to take on the Oilers. The Oilers took the game 1-0 over the Storm followed by a loss to Tiffin at home Saturday with a final score of 2-0.
Thursday
The Lake Erie Storm fell to Findlay University Thursday with a score of 1-0. The first half was quiet for both teams as they went into the half scoreless, however, in the 51st minute of the game, Madeline Nartker scored the solo goal of the game for the Oilers to put them up 1-0.
The Storm was able to get five shots on goal but none that found the back of the net.
Megan Biddell recorded three saves in the game, only letting one past her!
Saturday
The Lake Erie Storm fell to the Tiffin Dragons Saturday afternoon at home. The Dragons took the match 2-0.
The Dragons scored their first goal 10 minutes into the game by Hannah Rittenhouse to put them up 1-0. The Storm tried to fight back, but in the 27th minute of the first half the Dragons put another in the back of the net taking the lead 2-0.
The Storm got nine shots off, but the defense of the Dragons stopped them all.
Megan Biddell had six saves in the game.

The Storm has two home games left to end their season. The first match will be Saturday, October 30th as they host the Kentucky Wesleyan Panthers, kickoff is set for 11 AM. Game two will be on November 2nd as the Eagles of Ashland travel to Painesville for the last matchup of the season.
