(Painesville, Ohio) – The Lake Erie Storm women's soccer team hosted Trevecca Nazarene tonight in the first match under the lights of the season. Trevecca earned their first road victory of the season as they beat the Storm 1-0.
It wasn't until the second half that the Trojans scored the solo goal of the game. Both teams held each other defensively through the first half, but Makena Schlosser found the back of the net in the 62nd minute of the game. Schlosser currently leads the conference in game-winning goals this season.
Trevecca kept the pressure on the Storm the whole game getting five shots off. Megan Biddell, junior goalie for the Storm was able to fight off four of the five shots.

The Storm will be hitting the road as they travel to Ursuline College to take on the Arrows this Saturday, October 16th at 1 PM.
