(Painesville, Ohio) – The Lake Erie track & field squad is on the road this Saturday, January 23rd when they travel to Tiffin University for the Revolution Classic.
Action from Tiffin, Ohio beings at 10 a.m. Saturday with men's throws listed as the first field event, with distance and sprints following later in the afternoon.
This is Lake Erie's second meet this season after opening the year at the Youngstown Invitational. In the YSU Invitational freshman, Raena Willett highlighted the Storm with a top-five finish in the women's mile. Not only did Willett finish fifth in her first collegiate event, but she also established a new school record with a time of 5:21.35 to better the previous Storm record by Aneesa Volkman of 5:32.92 by almost 12-seconds.
