(Painesville, Ohio.) - The Lake Erie indoor track and field teams competed in the two-day meet on the campus of Akron University and Mount Union this past weekend.
Several Storm athletes continued to record new personal records at the Akron Invitational, including Luca Hartman a junior from Bonnievale, South Africa, who ran a time of 58.60 in 400-meter dash, a new school record previously set at 58.87.
Johanna Moeller set a fieldhouse and meet record in the long jump with her season opener jump of 5.54m in the Jim Wuske invitational hosted by Mount Union.

Hailey Nielsen out jumps the competition with a first-place finish in the long jump measuring 1.58m.

Alyssa Driss's toss of 14.56m gave her a third-place finish in the women's weighted throw.

Dominic Jones finishes in the top eight for the third straight week with his 60m hurdles time running of 8.48

Imane Snyder finished in the top eight ousting Sarah Beulla with a time of 25.454 in the 200m. Moeller and Inda Snyder both jump over 5m in the long jump.

Hartman and Sydney Crouch both posted top times in the 400m with times of 58.60 and 59.36 respectively. On the men's side of the 400m Joseph Elson Jr. finishes in the top eight running a 50.28.
