(Painesville, Ohio) – The Lake Erie College track and field squad is on the road this weekend for the 2020 Great Midwest Athletic Conference Indoor Championships Friday and Saturday, Feb. 28-29. The action begins at 10 a.m. on Friday, and a.m. on Saturday.

The G-MAC Championships are being held at the Heminger Center in Tiffin, Ohio., a place that the Storm have competed once already this indoor campaign.

Lake Erie competed at the Dragon Open Jan. 18 when the Women's 4x400m Relay team placed 1st edging out the host team Tiffin wi a time of 4:09.82. The Men's 4x400m team finished second at 3:34.06. Tareeq Welsh's 6.46m long jump measured second and gave him his best jump this season.
