(PAINESVILLE, Ohio) - The Lake Erie College Storm women's basketball team lost its second matchup to the Yellow Jackets of Cedarville University today with a final score of 84-76.

The Storm worked hard for a two-point lead heading into the locker rooms at the end of the first half, holding the Yellow Jackets to a shooting percentage of 33.3 from the field and beyond the arc in the first quarter. 

The Yellow Jackets picked up momentum in the second half of the game, and overtook the Storm lead that was held for almost the entirety of the first half. The matchup between the two teams featured five lead changes and four tie scores.

Leading the Storm on the floor was junior Breanna Bauer, recording a double-double with 24 points scored and 13 rebounds. 

Senior Ashley West added 18 points with eight rebounds to the Storm effort.

The Storm heads on the road later this week to play Malone on Thursday.
