STORM WARNING: Baseball Opens With Augusta, Anderson

(ANDERSON, S.C.) – The 2020 season gets underway in the Palmetto State as Lake Erie heads south for three games hosted by Anderson University at Memorial Stadium. The Trojans are entertaining six games on the weekend that starts today, but the Storm won't hit the diamond until Saturday when they take on Augusta and Anderson.

The Jaguars will be the first game for Lake Erie as the two will open up play at 11 a.m. Augusta has already had an early start to the season with six games under its belt, but have yet to reach the win column after being swept by Alabama Huntsville and Georgia College. Augusta also has a pair of games Friday against Saginaw Valley and Anderson.

The hosting Trojans also have six games finished so far this season and are 4-2 entering the weekend. They will play Saginaw Valley and Augusta on Friday. It's the first time Lake Erie and Anderson will have played each other.

Lake Erie and Saginaw Valley will close out the six-game event on Sunday morning at 11.
