INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana -- The Great Midwest Athletic Conference has announced the baseball all-conference selections for the 2025 season. The Storm earned two selections with first baseman
Jaxson Christ and starting pitcher
Alex Caudill earning second team honors.
Jaxson Christ - Second Team
First baseman
Jaxson Christ earned Second Team All-G-MAC honors after a standout season at the plate for the Storm. Christ started all 47 games and finished second on the team with a .311 batting average. He led Lake Erie in hits (51), RBIs (34), and runs scored (20), while posting a solid .825 OPS. His consistent production in the heart of the order played a key role in the Storm's offense throughout the season. Christ becomes the first Lake Erie position player to earn All-G-MAC recognition since teammate
Israel Espinosa in 2022.
Alex Caudill - Second Team
Starting pitcher
Alex Caudill earned Second Team All-G-MAC honors after an outstanding season on the mound for the Storm. In 13 starts, he posted a 3-2 record and ranked seventh in the conference with a 4.08 ERA. Caudill's 89 strikeouts were third-most in the G-MAC, trailing only G-MAC Pitcher of the Year Evan Oakley of Kentucky Wesleyan and teammate
Robert Helt, who set a new Lake Erie record with 93. Most impressively, Caudill led the entire conference in opponent batting average, setting both Lake Erie and G-MAC single-season records with a dominant .165 mark—surpassing the previous record of .169 held by former Storm ace Tyler Bryant. Caudill becomes the first Lake Erie pitcher to earn All-G-MAC honors since Bryant in 2021.
