Teeter In Contention at Kyle Ryman Memorial

(TIFFIN, Ohio) – Jarrod Teeter (R-Fr., Johnstown, Ohio) made an impact on the first day of the Kyle Ryman Memorial as he fired a 71 in the opening round and stands at 2-under-par with most of the second round complete. As result, the Northridge product sits in fourth on the individual leaderboard five strokes back of leader Tanner Grzegorczyk of Findlay.

Teeter started the day on 14th hole and sat even through the first three before he took a bogey on the 17th. He was able to get back to even with a birdie on the 18th, the second longest hole on the course, and stay there until he birdied again on the fourth, the longest hole of the course at 602 yards. Another birdie on eight put him at two-under until a bogey on the 13th to cap the first round.

Players attempted to finish the second round before sundown, but because of dense fog this morning, many were unable to finish.

Teeter will have five holes left in the second when action resumes at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow. He'll start out on the ninth hole and complete the round with the first four of the back nine.

As a team, the Storm stand 10th out of 16 teams. The Green and White are currently sandwiched in between a pair of G-MAC rivals with Walsh just three strokes ahead and Malone two strokes back.

Daniel Milo (Fr., Mentor, Ohio / Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin) had a strong debut to help the team score with a pair of 75's for his first two collegiate rounds. He started off slow in the second round, but was able to recover nicely with birdies on three of his final five holes.

Antonio Bodziony (Fr., Mentor, Ohio / Willoughby South) scored a 79 in the first round and has two holes to finish for his second round where he is currently six-over-par. He'll open up on 10, a par-3, and close on 11, a par-5, before starting the third round on 12.

Wyatt Chapman (Fr., Mentor, Ohio / Mentor) completed the team score for the first round with an 80. He'll be in line to have his second round included as well as a birdie on the final hole put him at 78. Jacob Fitzpatrick (Fr., Lorain, Ohio / Amherst Steele) completed the Storm's 305 team score for round one with an 82. He has sits nine-over with a par-4 remaining on his final hole of round two. Logan Frank (R-Fr., Painesville, Ohio / Riverside) hit 91 in the first round and will open Tuesday with three holes left in his second round.

Leading the overall team standings is Findlay who ended the day at 21-under-par. Indianapolis is a distant second and currently two-over-par. Host Tiffin and Hillsdale are currently tied for third just a stroke behind the Greyhounds.
