STORM WARNING: Men's Golf Closes Fall Season at Cedarville

(BEAVERCREEK, Ohio) – The fall portion of the schedule will conclude tomorrow for the Lake Erie men's golf team as it tees off in the Cedarville Invitational Monday. The event will be played at Beavercreek Golf Club, a 7,030-yard course, with two full rounds taking place in the same day.

The Storm had some decent prep work for the event as they had a full day last Monday in Tiffin's Kyle Ryman Memorial with almost two complete rounds. A delay in the start because of fog held off the opening by two hours.

It's been a promising start to the year for the Lake Erie linksters who have played well through two events this season. After finishing second behind Ohio Valley at the Fighting Scots' own event in Marietta late last month, the Green and White turned around and stood 24 strokes better than OVU last week in Tiffin.

The quintet making the trip will be Daniel Milo (Fr., Mentor, Ohio / Notre Dame-Cathedral Latin), Antonio Bodziony (Fr., Mentor, Ohio / Willoughby South), Jarrod Teeter (R-Fr., Johnstown, Ohio / Northeidge), Wyatt Chapman (Fr., Mentor, Ohio / Mentor), and Jacob Fitzpatrick (Fr., Lorain, Ohio / Amherst Steele). Milo has put up the best average thus far after he made his collegiate debut in Tiffin. He averaged 74 over his three rounds and capped the tournament with a 71 last Tuesday, the second-best round out of anyone that day.

Bodziony excelled at the Marietta Country Club with rounds of 73 and 74. After his three rounds at Tiffin he now has an average of 75.6 so far this year. Teeter had an incredible Monday last week with rounds of 71 and 74 to lead the Storm and has an average of 76.2 through five rounds this year.

Chapman hovers around the high 70's with his two best rounds came in Marietta. There he carded a part of 78's and averages 79 through five rounds this year. Fitzpatrick shoots just a hair higher and also found his best round in Marietta with a 79. His five-round average stands at 81.8.
