(Painesville, Ohio) - The Lake Erie indoor track teams will compete in their first event in 2020. The Storm will have a full day of competition on hand at the Tiffin Dragon Open.
Action from Tiffin, Ohio begins at 12 p.m. Saturday with women's throws listed as the first field event, while the track events also begin at the same time with the men's DMR starting off the competition.
This is Lake Erie's second meet this season after opening up the year at the Youngstown Icebreaker. In the YSU Icebreaker sophomore, Dominic DiFranco highlighted the Storm with a top 10 finish in the weighted throw. Alyssa Driss, Kendrick Scott, and Dylan Conant each placed in the top 25 in the women's and men's shot put respectively. Dominic Jones, Luca Hartman, Joseph Elson Jr., and India Snyder each are looking for personal records and top finishes in the Dragon Open. The Storm will have a total of 23 athletes competing in 17 events on Saturday.
Lake Erie will continue to look to put down good seeding times and marks while fighting for a position with the Great Midwest Athletic Conference Indoor Championships coming at the end of February.
