Box Score PAINESVILLE, Ohio
The Lake Erie College Storm women's basketball team fell to 7-11 overall for the 2019-2020 season and are now 4-4 in the Great Midwest with their loss to the Ohio Domincan University Panthers tonight. The final score was 86-67. With the win, the Panthers improve to 9-9 overall with a G-MAC record of 4-4.
The Panthers got out to an early lead, and the Storm was never able to get it back, although they did battle with multiple scoring runs, and the Storm bench outscoring the Panthers' bench by ten points. Their best run came in the fourth quarter and the offense scored seven straight points.
Storm senior Josie Chaddock led the offense tonight, scoring 19 points with four rebounds, and one assist and steal respectively. Freshman, Lauren Flannery, added 11 points with five rebounds and one assist and steal respectively as well.
The Storm is back at the Osborne center this Saturday, Jan. 8 for an afternoon matchup against Tiffin. Tip-off is scheduled for 3pm.
