PAINESVILLE, Ohio

The Lake Erie College Storm volleyball team fought tonight against Cedarville University but fell with a final score of 3-1. 

Set scores were 21-25, 20-25, 25-19, and 25-20. There were 13 total tie scores, and three lead changes in the match, most of which came in the second set.

Four Storm players hit double-digits in kills tonight, including Taylor Metzler (13), Carolin Santa (11), Courtney Rosebrook, and Paige Allen (10).

Freshman libero Kaylee Rosebrook recorded 15 digs, and senior defensive specialist Tashelle Piegan also recorded 15 digs. 

Storm junior Alexandria Becerra had a huge game, setting up the hitters 51 times tonight, a career-high.

The Storm returns to action at the AC tomorrow at 11 am against Frostburg St.
