(PAINESVILLE, Ohio) - The Lake Erie College women's soccer team resumes action on Tuesday, September 24 when they are on the road against Shawnee State at 7 p.m.

Match History
This will be the first matchup between the Storm and the Bears. Both teams were able to make the match a late addition to the 2019 season.
Scouting the Storm
Lake Erie earned a 1-1 double overtime draw against Ursiline their last time out on the field Saturday. The even score against Ursiline was the second straight draw of the season for the Storm. Sophmore Haley Scherer has a team high six points on three goals, while senior Holland Erb has two of the other six goals this year. Freshman Megan Biddell has yet to recieve a lost in goal with 23 saves and .958 save percentage and was named GMAC Defensive Player of the Week this past week.
Scouting the Bears
Shawnee State enters the match with a 4-3 record and riding a two game winning streak. The Bear's last match was a 6-0 victory vs Brescia. Paige Alford and Eilidh Mchattie both scored two goals a piece. At goalkeeper the Bears have freshman Hannah Bolender who currently has recorded five saves in two apperences.
Next Game
The Storm will return home for their second home match of the season on Friday, Sept. 27 when they face conference opponent Findlay at 1 p.m.
