PAINESVILLE, Ohio- The Lake Erie College women's soccer team completed their second straight shutout with a 1-0 win over the Davis & Elkins College Senators on Saturday (Sept. 23) evening.

Ashley Pryce (Stow, Ohio / Stow Munroe Falls) found the back of the net in the seventh minute with a shot in the box. Lake Erie held the 1-0 advantage at halftime with a 4-3 shot advantage.

Lake Erie shot the ball seven times in the second half but could not find the goal for a second time. Lake Erie outshot the Senators 11-4 in the game.

Pryce and Brett Pauff (Elida, Ohio / Elida) each had two shots as nine different players took a shot.

Marissa Brannon (Concord, Ohio / Lake Catholic) made three saves as she finished her second straight shutout.

Lake Erie will host Walsh on Thursday (Sept. 28) afternoon at 1:00 PM.
