PAINESVILLE, Ohio- The Lake Erie College women's soccer team made a first half goal stick in a 2-0 win over the Alderson Broaddus University Battlers on Thursday (Sept. 21) night.

Anne-Kristin Frank opened the scoring in the 38th minute of the game with a goal for the Storm.

Lake Erie led 1-0 at the intermission after a 9-4 shot advantage in the opening half.

Carley Kandel added an insurance goal in the 87th minute as the Storm completed the 2-0 shutout.

The Storm finished with a 15-8 shot advantage in the contest with six shots taken in the 2nd half. Kandel led the Storm with five shots, three on them on goal.

Marissa Brannon made six saves in the net as she picked up the shutout.

Lake Erie will host Davis & Elkins on Saturday (Sept. 23) evening at 6:00 PM.
