Box Score OWENSBORO, Ky. – The Lake Erie College men's soccer team fell to the Kentucky Wesleyan College Panthers 1-0 in a Great Midwest matchup on Thursday (Oct. 5) night.
Kentucky Wesleyan opened the scoring with a goal in the 27th minute off of a corner kick. The Panthers led 1-0 at the half despite Lake Erie holding a 14-3 shot advantage.
The Storm took ten shots in the second half but were not able to tie up the game. Kentucky Wesleyan won the game 1-0.
Javier Borreguero (Nigran, Spain / Los Sauces School) took six shots for the Storm as 12 different players attempted a shot.
The Storm will return to the pitch with a Great Midwest matchup at Trevecca Nazarene University on Saturday (Oct. 7) afternoon.
