VIENNA, W. Va. – The Lake Erie College women's soccer team concluded the 2017 season with a 3-0 defeat in the 2017 Great Midwest Athletic Conference Tournament on Saturday (Oct. 28) afternoon.

The Storm fell to the number one seed Ohio Valley in the Great Midwest quarterfinal.

After 35 minutes of scoreless action, Ohio Valley scored the first goal of the game on a header. Seven minutes later, the Fighting Scots added a second goal. The Fighting Scots led 2-0 at halftime.

Five minutes into the second half, Ohio Valley made it 3-0 with a goal. The Fighting Scots won the match by a 3-0 final score.

Lake Erie finished the season with a 5-12-1 overall record and the first playoff appearance since joining Division-II.
