Box Score VIENNA, W.V. – The Lake Erie College women's soccer team was in action today as they were defeated by #24 Ohio Valley, 4-0.
The Fighting Scots opened the scoring seven minutes into the game as they scored on a penalty kick. 26 minutes later, Ohio Valley added a second goal and took a 2-0 lead into the intermission.
The Fighting Scots tacked on a third straight goal in the 56th minute to take a 3-0 advantage. About five minutes later, Ohio Valley stretched their lead to 4-0 over the Storm. The Storm fought hard for the remainder of the game, but fell, 4-0.
Lake Erie will be back in action Saturday (Oct. 21) when they travel to take on Cedarville with the game set to start at 4:30 p.m.
