MIDLAND, Mich. - The Lake Erie College volleyball team had their eight match winning streak come to an end on Friday (Sept. 23) night as they fell to the Northwood University Timberwolves 3 sets to none.

The 3-0 (17-25, 20-25, 20-25) Northwood sweep dropped the Storm's overall record to 8-4 and 1-1 in the conference.

Crystal Kedroske (Dexter, Mich. /Dexter) led the Storm with double-digit kills. Kedroske finished with 11 kills, one service ace and seven digs. Brooke Peiffer (Lansing, Mich. / Holt) was second on the team with six kills. Sidney Fletcher (Saline, Mich. / Saline) led the defense with 14 digs and Alexis Thomas (Cincinnati, Ohio/Fairfield) added 26 assists. Three players finished the match with two block assists each.

The Storm will have a quick turnaround as they will face the Hillsdale Chargers on Saturday (Sept. 24) afternoon on the road.
