PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania- The Lake Erie College women's soccer team improved to 3-0 on the season as they traveled to Carlow University and brought home a 3-0 victory on Saturday (Sept. 10) night.

Lake Erie jumped out to a 1-0 lead as Elizabeth Awuah (Pickerington, Ohio / Pickerington Central) in the 20th minute.

Late in the second half, the Storm added on two insurance goals by Holland Erb (Akron, Ohio / Walsh Jesuit) and Kynslie Murphy (Parma, Ohio / Valley Forge). The goals came within a two minute span (69' and 71'). Erb's scored her first collegiate goal in the game.

Marissa Brannon did not allow a goal in her first shutout of the year.

The Storm will return back home and take on Salem International at home on Thursday (Sept. 15).
