ASHLAND, Ohio— The Lake Erie College volleyball team fell in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) against Ashland University Tuesday (Sept. 29).

The Eagles captured the sets 25-23, 25-11 and 25-22.

Courtney Stedman (Mount Prospect,, Ill./Hersey)  led the Storm with eight kills. Madison Russell Westerville, Ohio/Westerville South) had seven while Leondra Barrett (Chattanooga, Tenn./Ooltewah) had six.

Brittany Levkulich (Perry, Ohio/Perry) had a team-high seven digs.  Crystal Kedroske (Dexter, Mich./Dexter) and Alexis Thomas (Cincinnati, Ohio/Fairfield) had six digs apiece.

Thomas led the Storm setters with 13 assists while Barrett led the Storm defense with a pair of blocks.

The Storm is back in action Friday, playing host to Northwood University.
