MARQUETTE, Mich. – The Lake Erie College volleyball team was defeated today by Northern Michigan in straight sets, (25-10, 25-19, 25-17).  With the loss the Storm falls to 4-5 overall and 0-3 in the conference and with the win the Wildcats improve to 10-2 overall and 2-1 in conference play. 

Offensively, the Storm was led by Bethany Fisher (Orrville, Ohio / Dalton) who tallied six kills and three blocks on the day.  Also helping the offense was Leondra Barrett (Chattanooga, Tn. / Ooltewah) who had five kills and also recorded three blocks. 

Defensively, the Storm was led by Brittany Levkulich (Perry, Oh. / Perry) who had a team high eight digs in the match.  Crystal Kedroske (Dexter, Mich. / Dexter) tallied six digs in the match. 

Lake Erie will be back in action tomorrow when they travel to take on Michigan Tech at 3 P.M.
