Box Score CLEARWATER, Fla.—The Lake Erie College baseball team set several offensive program records as they defeated the University of Sciences 31-18 for their first victory of the season.

Zak DeCamp (Gahanna, Ohio/St. Frances DeSales) set a Lake Erie record with six hits, going a perfect six-of-six from the plate, with a three-run homerun, two doubles, two singles and eight RBI. Lucas Raley (Hinckley, Ohio/Medina Highland) went four-of-six from the plate with a double, two singles, a sacrifice fly and four RBI. Cale Giddings (Pickerington, Ohio/Pickerington North/Akron) also went four-of-six from the plate, hitting two doubles, two singles and four RBI.
Louie Peterlin (Mentor, Ohio/Lake Catholic) went two-of-three from the plate with a solo homerun and a double. Sean Mathews (Washington, Mich./Warren De La Salle) went-of-five with two RBI. Dylan Yankle (Dublin, Ohio/Olentangy Liberty) had a homerun, a single and three RBI.
Austin Bovenzi (Fairport, N.Y./McQuaid Jesuit) set a program record with seven plate appearances with two hits and a RBI.
Aaron Lindgren (Willoughby, Ohio/Willoughby South) had a three-run homerun, four RBI and was walked three times. Rutger Luebke (Medina, Ohio/Medina) had a single and two RBI while Nico DiIanni had (Painesville, Ohio/Riverside) had a double and a RBI.
The Storm used seven pitchers in the game. Christopher Tomshack (Avon, Ohio/Elyria Catholic) went two innings giving up two hits and no runs. Vince Pitzulo (West Middlesex, Pa./Wilmington Area/Mercyhurst Northeast) pitched one inning, giving up one run.
The Storm is back in action tomorrow to face Saginaw Valley State University in a nonconference game.
