Box Score PAINESVILLE, Ohio—The Lake Erie College volleyball team was defeated today by Walsh University in straight sets. With the loss the Storm falls to 6-17 overall and 1-12 in the conference and with the win the Cavaliers improve to 9-16 overall and 2-11 in conference play.
The set scores were 25-22, 25-19, 25-18.
Offensively, Lake Erie was led by Madison Russell (Westerville, Ohio / Westerville South) who had a team high 12 kills in the match. Also pitching in on offense was Bethany Fisher (Orrville, Ohio / Dalton) who tallied 10 kills in the match.
Defensivley, the Storm was led by Crystal Kedroske (Dexter, Mich. / Dexter) who had a game high 20 digs. In addition to Kedroske, Sidney Fletcher (Saline, Mich. / Saline) and Mallory Gustincic (Medina, Ohio / Medina) each tallied double digit digs with 16 and 10 respectively.
Lake Erie will be back in action Tuesday (November 3rd) when they host Ashland University at 7 P.M.
