Storm Defeated by Ohio Dominican

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Lake Erie College women's soccer team was defeated today by Ohio Dominican, 2-1.  With the loss the Storm falls to 3-11-2 overall and 1-8-2 in the conference and with the win the Panthers are 9-6 overall and 8-2 in conference play. 

The Panthers took a first half lead when Allison Pavlik scored off of an assist by Lauren Pratt, to give Ohio Dominican a 1-0 advantage.  The Storm tied the game when Ashley Pryce (Stow, Ohio / Stow Munroe Falls) finished a penalty kick to level the game at a goal apiece.

The Panthers took the lead late in the game when Susan D'Isidoro scored off of a free kick that bounced around in the box to give the Panthers a 2-1 lead.  The Panthers held on to win the game 2-1.

In net for the Storm was Marissa Brannon (Concord, Oh / Lake Catholic)she faced 31 shots, 13 of which were on goal, and made 11 saves.

Lake Erie will be back in action Sunday (October 25th) when they host Findlay at 1 P.M.
