BIG RAPIDS, Mich. – The Lake Erie College volleyball team was defeated today (October 4^th) by #15 Ferris St. University, 3-0.  With the loss the Storm fall to 2-12 overall and 0-9 in the conference, and with the win the Bulldogs improve to 10-3 overall and 8-1 in conference play. 

Freshman outside hitter Asya Hobbs (Lynwood, Ill. / Bishop Noll) led the Storm on offense with six kills in the game.  The high in kills for the game was 11 by Megan Vander  meer and Courtney Rehm both of Ferris St. 

The defense was led by a pair of freshmen for the Storm Graesyn Engler (Perrysburg, Ohio / Perrysburg) and Sidney Fletcher (Saline, Mich. / Saline) who had eight and seven digs respectively.  The high in digs for the game was 12 by Danielle Dowd of the Bulldogs. 

The Storm will be back in action Tuesday (October 7^th) when they travel to take on Urbana at 7 P.M.
