HOUGHTON, MICH. --  Freshman Liam Goldberg (Melbourne, Australia/Haileybury College) improved to 4-0 with another straight sets victory, however for the second straight match that was the only victory for the Lake Erie College men's tennis team in an 8-1 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) loss at Michigan Technological University.

Goldberg handled Felipe dos Santos 6-3, 6-2 for his fourth straight set victory of the season.  Junior Kyle O'Dell (Geneva, Ohio/Geneva) went to a third-set with Nick Kremkow at fifth singles before falling 6-3, 3-6, 10-4.

The unbeaten Huskies (6-0, 1-0 GLIAC) took the other four singles matches in straight sets and also won all doubles contests.

The Storm (0-4, 0-2 GLIAC) is off until Saturday, Feb. 23, when they travel for a nonconference match at Baldwin Wallace University.
