Biography

2011: Spent his freshman season at first singles for the Storm, winning two matches... won three matches in doubles competition, playing first doubles... teamed with Austin Opfer for an 8-5 win against Tiffin on April 5 for team's only conference win.

PRIOR TO LAKE ERIE: Named  Star Beacon Ashtabula County co-Player of the Year in tennis and Player of the Year in boys' soccer as a senior at Geneva High School... also named first-team all-conference in each sport... advanced to state tournament in doubles play... played on four consecutive conference championship tennis teams.

PERSONAL: Born May 6, 1992... son of Brian and Kanda O'Dell... majoring in early childhood education
