GRANDVILLE, Mich. – Lake Erie closed out its three-match Michigan trip with a 9-0 loss at Grand Valley State (Mich.) on Friday.

The Lakers won their six individual matches in straight sets. The regionally ranked (No. 8) GVSU squad is now 6-1 in Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action. The Lakers are 14-5 overall.

Lake Erie's top performers were Kyle O'Dell and Luke Hobbs who each won four games on the day. Hobbs paired with Nemanja Josic on an 8-3 loss in doubles play.

The matches were held at the Ramblewood Tennis & Health Club in Grandville, Mich.
