TIFFIN, Ohio-- The Lake Erie College volleyball team fell on the road to Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) foe Tiffin University in straight sets Saturday (Nov. 9).

Mary Walter (Solon, Ohio/Notre Dame Cathedral Latin), Sara Aultz (Wooster, Ohio/Orrville) and Molly Richardson (Fort Wayne, Ind./Bishop Dwenger) led the Storm with seven kills apiece. Walter also had three aces. Three Storm players had double-digit digging games- Jamie Hoppe (Green Springs, Ohio/Clyde), Kathryn Ferry (Lima, Ohio/Lima Central Catholic) and Alexis Bankson (Churulousco, Ind./Churubusco). Samantha Knepley (Munith, Mich./Stockbridge) and Mallory Gustincic (Medina, Ohio/Medina) combined for 27 assists.

Chelsea Stockmeyer led the Dragons with 12 kills while Jordan Jenkins had 30 digs. 

The Storm returns home Tuesday (Nov. 12) to host Ursuline College in a nonconference match.
