MIDLAND, Ohio-- The Lake Erie College volleyball team concluded its weekend trip to Michigan Saturday (Oct. 19), falling at Northwood University 3-0 (25-14, 25-14, 25-17) in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) conference. 

Jamie Hoppe (Green Springs, Ohio/Clyde) led the Storm with eight kills. Molly Richardson (Fort Wayne, Ind./Bishop Dwenger) and Mary Walter (Solon, Ohio/Notre Dame Cathedral Latin) combined for 11 kills. Jamie Riley (Prospect, Ohio/Olentangy) had a team-high five kills. Hoppe, Kathyrn Ferry (Lima, Ohio/Lima Central Catholic) and Alexis Bankson (Churulousco, Ind./Churubusco) had three digs apiece. 

Kristin Perschon and Julia Pakhomenko led the Timberwolves with eight kills apiece while Brita Bjornsdottir had six digs.

The Storm are back in action next weekend for the GLIAC/GLVC crossover.
