Klucar Places Eighth to Open All-Ohio Championship

PAINESVILLE, OHIO – A total of just nine events were scored Friday (April 20) on the first day of the All-Ohio Track and Field Championships at Miami University, with the Lake Erie College men's track and field team picking up a point in one of the two events the Storm competed in.  The LEC women did not have an entry in any of the four events on their side.

Junior Eric Klucar (Medina, Ohio/Highland) placed eighth in the pole vault to score the Storm's lone point on day one.  He cleared 14' 1 ¼" and was the highest Division II finisher in the competition.

Through five scored events, Lake Erie is tied for 12th out of 15 teams.

The remainder of the Storm will be in action on Saturday, April 22, when the competition begins in earnest at George Rider Track.
