Box Score MIDLAND, MICH.--Alyssa Tomassi and Amanda Watson combined for five goals in a Northwood University win over the Lake Erie College women's soccer team on Sunday (Oct. 14) in Midland, Mich.
Alyssa Tomassi opened up the scoring for Northwood (6-6-1, 6-3-1 GLIAC) in the sixth minute of play off a free kick from just outside the box. Amanda Watson increased the lead to 2-0 in 39th minute. Tomassi added two more goals in the second half, Watson adding one, in the 5-0 win in a Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference match.
The Storm (3-10-1, 2-6-1 GLIAC) return to action on Friday (Oct. 19th) visiting GLIAC foe Ashland University (5-10, 4-6 GLIAC) in Ashland, Ohio at 4:30 pm.
