PAINESVILLE, OHIO – Facing the GLIAC leader and top 10 nationally ranked team, Lake Erie College (2-19, 1-15 GLIAC) fell short of Hillsdale College (21-2, 15-1 GLIAC), in straight sets.

The Storm fell by a count of 25-16, 25-14, 25-17. 

Lake Erie had 23 kills in the match as Jamie Hoppe (Green Springs, Ohio/Clyde) led Lake Erie with six kills.  Senior Krista O'Connor (North Royalton, Ohio/North Royalton) directed the Storm offense with 10 assists and added eight digs. Junior Paige Baldauf (Marion, Ohio/Marion Pleasant) managed 10 digs. 

The Storm's three games in three day road trip finishes up tomorrow at Wayne State University.
