Women's Soccer Road Swing Wraps Up With Loss

Lake Erie College (2-6, 0-6 GLIAC) will be happy to return home as a 5-0 loss to Ferris State University (4-4-1, 4-2-1 GLIAC) in Big Rapids, Mich. wrapped up a six-game road swing.

The Storm return home for GLIAC doubleheader against Northern Michigan on Friday at 2:00 p.m. in Jack Britt Memorial Stadium.

Ferris State's Bri Borgman was the player of the match with three goals and an assist.  Borgman assisted on their first goal by Kara Lovelace in the 7th minute and scored herself in the 45th, 61st and 77th minutes.  Sam Harrington capped off the scoring for the Bulldogs in the 79th minute.

Ferris St. won the battle of shots, 32-4, and corner kicks 6-3. 

Freshman Megan Baldacci (Cavecreek, Ariz./Cactus Shadows) made double digit saves for the third straight game as she stopped 10 Bulldog shots.
