Lake Erie College could not snap its losing streak as it fell to Wheeling Jesuit University, 3-0, in a non-conference match in Painesville, Ohio. Junior Michelle Naab (North Royalton, Ohio/North Royalton) and freshmen Molly Richardson (Fort Wayne, Ind./Bishop Dwenger) each had six kills for Lake Erie in defeat.

The Cardinals move to 13-2 overall and are winners of eight straight matches while the Storm is now 3-10 and has dropped eight straight. 

Junior Krista O'Connor (North Royalton, Ohio/North Royalton) led Lake Erie with 12 assists, while senior Lauren Johnson (Wellington, Ohio/Keystone) had a team-high 13 digs.

The Storm's home swing continues this week as they host Mercyhurst in a non-conference matchup on Tuesday and GLIAC foe Ashland on Thursday.
