In a matchup of the two GLIAC newcomers in 2010, each looking for its first conference win, Ohio Dominican University prevailed over Lake Erie College , 3-0, in Painesville, Ohio.

The Panthers (3-6, 1-6 GLIAC) won by scores of 25-15, 25-18, 25-14 as the Storm falls to 3-9 and 0-7 in GLIAC play.  Ohio Dominican tallied 47 kills and 49 digs in the match, while Lake Erie had 32 and 42, respectively.

For Lake Erie, freshmen Molly Richardson (Fort Wayne, Ind./Bishop Dwenger) and Jamie Hoppe (Green Springs, Ohio/Clyde) each had seven kills.  Junior Krista O'Connor (North Royalton, Ohio/North Royalton) led the Storm with 15 assists, while senior Lauren Johnson (Wellington, Ohio/Keystone) had a team-high 16 digs.

The Storm's home swing continues later this evening as they Wheeling Jesuit University at 6:00 p.m.
