PAINESVILLE, OHIO – The Lake Erie College volleyball team fell in their home opener to Tiffin University, 3-0 in Painesville, Ohio.

The Dragons (6-4, 4-2 GLIAC) won by scores of 25-16, 25-17, 25-17 as the Storm falls to 3-8 and 0-6 in GLIAC play.  Tiffin was paced 38 kills and 51 digs in the match, while Lake Erie had 23 and 42, respectively.

For Lake Erie, junior Michelle Naab (North Royalton, Ohio/North Royalton) had five kills to lead the Lake Erie offense  while senior Lauren Johnson (Wellington, Ohio/Keystone) had a team-high 16 digs and junior Krista O'Connor (North Royalton, Ohio/North Royalton) added 13 assists.

The Storm's home swing continues tomorrow as they host Ohio Dominican and Wheeling Jesuit Universities in a tri-match which starts at 2:00 p.m.
