Lake Erie College's (0-7, 0-4 GLIAC) road woes continued at #19-ranked Mercyhurst College (5-0-1), as the Storm fell 5-0 in a non-conference tilt in Erie, Pa.

The Lakers got two goals from Chirstoph Hampel and solo scores from Matias Karioja, Alex Manea and Tommy Lund.

Mercyhurst took a 2-0 lead into halftime with goals in the 11^th and 18^th minutes and added second half tallies in the 49^th, 68^th and 70^th minutes.

In goal for Lake Erie, sophomore Ricky Carreira (Toronto, Ont./Dante Alighieri Academy) made nine saves as the Storm stopped 12 Laker shots as a team.

Mercyhurst won the battle of shots, 33-2, and corner kick, 3-2.

The Storm are in action next on Saturday, Sept. 25 when they travel to take on Gannon University at 3:00 p.m.
